Just as we suspected, the Steam Summer Sale is now upon us, along with the Steam Summer Adventure!

Not only are there new trading cards to collect that grant you new backgrounds, emotes and in-game items... there are now points to be 'earnt'.

Everyone that either crafts a badge or clicks on the 'Join a team' button is randomly asigned to one of five teams: Purple, Green, Pink, Blue and Red.  The team with the most points at the end of each day wins two extra trading cards with 30 members of the team recieving 3 games from their wishlist!

Sadly, if you are in any team other than Purple for day one, it's not looking good as they have a huge lead over all the other teams... so large, in fact, that it looks a little suspicious (especially given that the other teams are so tightly bunched).
