It's not going to be long now until the imfamous patch 1.2, "Legacy", hits the test servers and the players of Star Wars The Old Republic are finally able to see ALL of the changes.  So far, Bioware have released a few details of what to expect but not much about any class balancing or other fixes.  So, what do we know is coming so far?

  • Guild Banks
  • Player-vs-Player Warzone ranking
  • Warzone: Novare Coast
  • Operation: Explosive Conflict
  • Flashpoint: The Lost Island
  • Major updates to the Legacy System including:
    • Family Tree
    • Legacy Abilities
    • Unlockables (e.g. GTN and mail terminals for your ship_
    • Legacy Species Unlocks
  • Customisable UI (at last)
  • Improved character textures
  • Appearance Customisation
  • Mission usables will now show on the tracker
  • New Corellia daily missions
  • New gear
  • New mini pets
  • New vehicles
  • Craftable Augments
  • New crafting schematics
  • New Lightsaber colours
  • Extractable Tier 2 mods
  • Legacy item drops
  • New roleplay emotes
  • Ship droids will now gain affection(?)
  • More craftable colour crystals
  • Crystal formations on Alderaan
  • Stackable companion gifts
  • Reverse engineer random drops
  • Cybertech vehicles with no longer be bind on pick up
  • Companion gift cooldown removed
  • Combat log
  • Upgrade vendor in Corellia spaceport
  • Increased chance of researching schematics
  • Learnable Tier 2 item crafting

Already the forums are a burning mess of people claiming that they will either be leaving because of rumours they've heard or that this is the patch that will save the game.  We're just impatiently waiting for it to hit...
