Despite some initial teething troubles, the Ninetendo Switch now holds the title for the biggest launch in Nintendo's history having sold over 2.4 million units worldwide (according to research group, Superdata) and with the imminent release of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, it is unlikely to lose much momentum.

This is certainly good news for Nintendo as the console is doing better than initially expected.

I've yet to take the plunge myself... although, having played some Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the WiiU, I'm sure it won't be long!
