Less than a week to go and the Rockstar hype engine is well on it's way. We've had quite a stead influx of information recently and, personally, I'm trying not to spend too long looking at it all.
That said, from everything I have seen or heard, GTA V is bigger and more involved than any of the previous games in the series. The map, alone, is supposedly bigger than GTA IV, GTA San Andreas and Red Dead Redemption all put together, which is pretty impressive.
If that wasn't enough, GTA Online is being bundled alongside all copies of GTA V and, while it may be restricted to just 16 players, it supposedly has over 500 activities to take part in from heists through to playing golf, complete with NPCs from the main game. With Rockstar suggesting that they intend to expand and support GTA Online as a seperate entity for quite some time, this could prove to be worth the entrance fee alone.
One thing is certain, Rockstar's significant investment in the game, somewhere in the region of £170 million (the most expensive in history) looks likely to pay off.
Even without an announcement for a PC version (which seemes likely to follow the console release), colour me excited... and don't bother me for a little while after the 17th of the month!
