They've talked about it for a while but the latest video from SOE finally shows us a few details from the next big patch.

The two main highlights have to be the new Empire-specific rocket launchers and the changes to the Flash (quad-bike).

The Flash will now allow infiltrators to cloak for a short period of time, which should make them more useful for actually, you know, infiltrating... although I do worry about the opportunities for abuse, running infanty over while cloaked.  They have also added a passenger seat to the back, allowing you to take a friend on your travels.  Your passenger will also be able to use their weapons (within reason) so you'll have some extra offensive capabilities.  This should make the Flash a far more useful vehicle.

The Empire-specific rocket launchers are an interesting addition and we'll have to see how well they work in-game given that they are so very different, although I love the idea.  The Vanu Sovereignty get a suitably high tech 'laser' rocket that can be charged up to cause extra damage, while the Terran Republic get treated to a magazine-fed launcher with lock on capabilites.  The New Conglomerate, my personal favourite, get a heavy-hitting camera-guided missile... which should open up all sorts of possibilities (depending on it's range and maneuverability).
