This year's E3 is looking amazing and Bethesda kicked things off with quite a briefing. Here's a quick recap:
Doom
Due for release in the first quarter of next year, it finally looks like they are taking Doom back to it's roots but with a shiny new coat of paint. Big guns, fast bloody action and some nasty looking demons to deal with. Oh, and the chainsaw... what more could you ask for?!
How about an easy to use level editor? Doom Snapmap aims to let players with no previous experience put together maps for the game as easily as possible. As someone who made some maps for the original Doom, I can honestly say this is a good thing... as long as it doesn't cripple the creativity in it's rush to be accessible.
Dishonoured 2
There was a lot of talk about this before the show and I'm pleased to see it become a reality. Playing as either Corvo or Emily Caldwin, you'll have new enviroments and new powers to play with. Due in the Autumn, there's not that long to wait either.
Fallout 4
This is the big one. Set in Boston before the nuclear blast, you get to really craft what you look like (and play as either a man or a woman) before the bomb goes off and you find yourself emerging from Vault 111 two hundred years later!
While the game engine has been upgraded a little to include things like volumetric light, the main differences appear to be with the crafting. You'll now be able to build settlements, complete with all sorts of facilities that will attract NPCs to come and stay with you (and provide trading opportunities). All items within the game provide materials of some sort that can be used in crafting and your guns, armour and items are highly customisable. Your dog companion can now be ordered to do things like fetch items and fight enemies.
It would also appear that Xbox One owners will be able to use mods created for the PC version, which is quite an achievement.
The best part? It's due for release on the 10th of November this year!

Plus...
On top of the main announcements, there was also talk of Elder Scrolls Legends, a card game that will be appearing on tablets in the near future no doubt hoping to steal some of Hearthstone's audience.
And, if Fallout 4 is still too far away for you to cope, there is also Fallout Shelter, a vault management game for iOS (at the moment) and already available.
