Assassin's Creed 3
Posted Jan 29, 05:00 pm by Naiboss

First things first... I love Assassin's Creed 3, I really do.  I'd almost go as far as to say it's one of my favourite games in the Assassin's Creed series.  While it may seem unusual to put the conclusion in the opening paragraph of a review, I wanted to make sure the message was... read more.

Sonic Generations
Posted Dec 10, 09:35 am by Naiboss

I recently bought Sonic Generations in the Steam sale, I haven't actually enjoyed a sonic game since Adventure 2..well Sonic advance was OK I guess. Now I haven't collected every ring or collectable, but I have had a play through and I thought I would share my thoughts. About the Game: So this game... read more.

Casualty of War?

It's been an 'interesting' start to Planetside 2 so far.  When I first started to write a few words on it, I had been supremely impressed by how smooth the launch had been, how clear and open the communication had been between the Planetside 2 team and the players... and then the cracks... read more.

Assassin's Creed Revelations
Posted Oct 14, 09:45 am by Naiboss

It's been a little while since I've played Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, so the frustration of some of the mechnics (like the crossbow wielding guards on horseback) is almost a distant memory... and it seems like Ubisoft, for the most part, would like it to stay that way. Assassin's Creed... read more.

Tripping the light fantastic...

Ever since Double Fine dragged Kickstarter into the spotlight, there have been a steady stream of game developers, old and new, looking to crowd sourcing as a way to fund their niche projects.  So far this has proved pretty successful for a number of developers (I've certainly been... read more.

Under Effected?

Given the rather heated public debate over the endings in Mass Effect 3, I wanted to make sure that I'd played through the entire game before I posted anything about it.  Some 68 hours later (including a fair amount of multi-player), I've come to understand why players haven't been happy...... read more.

Max Payne, possibly the unluckiest man to ever walk the earth (in virtual form, at least) makes a return after nine years... but is he still the same man and is he still up to the job? For reasons unclear at the start of the game, Max is now in São Paulo, Brazil, working as private security... read more.

If you've never played The Witcher 1 or 2, allow me to give you a little bit of background... You play the part of Geralt of Rivia, a professional monster slayer: a Witcher.  Witchers are trained and mutated into skilled and efficient killing machines able to use magic and potions to enhance... read more.

Dismal Waters

The original Risen was a fairly gritty, but actually pretty decent, RPG.  You would hope, then, that the sequel would be even better.  More polished, perhaps? Better combat (one of the weaker elements of the first game)? Professional voice actors maybe? You'd certainly expect it to build... read more.

Shazbot!

It's been a looong time coming but the the sequel to the fun first person shooter, Tribes 2 (yes, I'm ignoring Tribes: Vengance for good reason), is finally here in the form of free-to-play, Tribes: Ascend.  If you've never played a Tribes game, you may find the movement a little... different.... read more.
