And all of a sudden, we know a whole lot more about the Nintendo NX. It's now called the Ninetndo Switch (dropping any link to the "Wii" branding) and it's a hybrid console due out in March 2017.
As shown in the photo below and the video above, the single-screen tablet device has detachable mini game controllers that can be used independently, or clipped into a holder to create a full sized contoller. Several games are shown in the video, including Skyrim, which is a first for Nintendo, and quite a selling point.
We've yet to see any specifications and Nintendo.com is currently experiencing some serious issues (not surprisingly).
Update: Nintendo have released a list of partners (including Bethesda, obviously) so we can expect to see some great third-party titles make an appearance:
